About the study

This open-label extension study (LTS18211, also called COLOSSUS) follows adults with COPD who completed the lunsekimig parent studies EFC18243 or EFC18244. Everyone in the extension receives lunsekimig, an investigational biologic, so researchers can learn about its long-term safety and benefit. A sub-study also looks at whether some participants can safely stop their inhaled corticosteroid.

Who can participate

You may be eligible if you:

  • Completed the treatment period of a lunsekimig COPD parent study (EFC18243 or EFC18244)
  • Are 40 to 80 years old

Other criteria apply. A research coordinator will review eligibility with you, and a study doctor confirms it at a screening visit.

What to expect

  • Up to 96 weeks of treatment plus about 4 weeks of safety follow-up
  • About 26 study visits
  • Breathing tests and questionnaires during the study

Status at Veritas

This extension is only open to people who finished a lunsekimig parent study. It has not started enrolling at our site yet. If you are taking part in our lunsekimig COPD study, your coordinator will discuss it with you.
